Work on The Master Chief Collection Will Not Affect Halo 6

We know that the First person shooting game Halo (Halo 6 most probably) is under production, although it has not been announced officially. With that, we have Halo The Master Chief Collection update that has been awaited for a long time. With all these multiple productions underway there have been some real concerns from the fans that the Halo 6 may be affected by the present concentration on Halo: MCC and Halo 5.

This Week in a blog post by the developer 343 Industries made it clear that Halo: MCC and Halo 5 are being produced apart in such a manner that they will not be pulling resources from the next Halo title.

343 team added that a small team at 343 is working on the legacy Halo Games. They added that this team is entirely separate from the other major teams working on other Halo titles. 343 elaborated that the fans should not be worried even a little as there is no overlap between the production of these projects.

The aim is to get all of these projects executed properly without them causing each other any resource limitations. 343 highlighted the concerns of some fans that; the Halo: MCC  is being focused more, at the cost of the other titles of this game. To that, they have assured that the developers are not going to let anything come in the way.

Last October Microsoft did open up with the bugs and issues Halo: MCC has been experiencing and for them it sure is a prime focus to not let those linger on. Also, it has been discussed that 343 is also using some external support for some testing and stuff.

Things that will be addressed in Halo: MCC will include updating the matchmaking APIs to increase its reliability. Major changes include the XDK/APIs for all of its eight-game engines that are running. Which include Halo 1 Classic, Halo 1 Anniversary, Halo 2 Classic, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 4, and Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer.

It is not sure when the new Halo game will get its announcement, although it would be very soon.

Halo Master Chief Collection is available on Xbox One although there is a rumor that has been traveling for quite a long time now that it may also be coming on PC.
