For a Brief Period, Monster Hunter World Was Free on PlayStation Store
Monster Hunter World was in beta recently and soon after seeing the quality of this title, players stormed the PlayStation Store to purchase a copy. While the deluxe edition is available for $69.99, many were able to pick it up for free using “H9GFLTN9C7F3″ code before Sony got wind of it and blocked the code.
You may be skeptical of the news and understandably so, however, many who used the code gave confirmation of it being legit.
Thanks, it worked. – Hayness
Huh, I thought this might just be the digital deluxe upgrade but it’s actually the full game. Already bought it on launch day but it’s insane that this is not a one use code. – pakon29
its working for me and im downloading it now. But i doubt ill be able to keep it since it seems like a big glitch in the system. – peter369
Fingers crossed they don’t remove it! Thanks op, legend! – Shads
What a deal! Thanks OP worked a treat. I wasn’t sure if I had to be on the PlayStation itself to purchase using a coupon. I ended up just using my computers web browser via the PS Store and worked (had to select prepaid card – then pasted the voucher). – PR0r
The code is no longer valid but still, you can give it a try to see if it’ll work at your end. Here’s how to use it:
- Login to your PlayStation Store (US)
- Head to “Redeem Code”
- Enter the code and hit Apply
Monster Hunter World is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One. You can download the digital version of PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace. The PC version is in development and could release sometime in Autumn 2018. A final release date is still undermined.
Try the code and let us know if you got the game for free.
