While we did get benchmarks for Tomb Raider when testing the Dell XPS 2-in-1 laptop here we have a video of the gameplay on the Acer Swift 3. The laptop starts at $750 and is great value for money considering the FPS that it can run Tombraider at 1080p High settings. You can check out the video below:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700U features 4 cores and 8 threads and if you are interested in buying the Acer Swift 3 then you can click here to find out where you can pre-order one of these laptops. You can also check out how well the laptop is able to run FIFA 18 in the video below:
We also have the specifications of the upcoming Intel Core i3-8130U that will be coming out for the laptop market and while it seems that the chip will be competing with Ryzen Mobile for the entry-level market, we have yet to see variants with more cores and threads. Ryzen mobile has the upper hand here with 4 core and 8 thread options.
While it is possible that Intel chips will be revealed later on that feature more cores and threads, we know little about them at the moment. If these chips are indeed coming out then it will be a very interesting year for the CPU market as AMD and Intel fight for market share. For more information stay tuned to SegmentNext.
