Dragon Ball FighterZ Unlocks
21 is the total number of characters which will be available from the start of the game but 3 characters will require unlocking. Unlocking requires Android 21, Vegeta (SSGSS), and Goku (SSGSS).
Android 21 a new edition to the world of Dragon Ball FighterZ, with the arrival of new character all the fans are looking forward to trying his new moves. However, in terms of playing this character, you need to first unlock it and that itself is not an easy task.

Unlock Goku SSGSS
There are two different ways to unlock Goku SSGSS. First, by earning 500,000 Zeni currency, which can is not that difficult to farm when going through the story. You get a lot of currency when playing the Story Version. You can also farm Zeni in story mode “Victory Zeni Up” and play the chapters which you have already played.
After finishing the Story Mode once, you can play that again in much harder difficulty which will reward you with more Zeni. On compilation of Arcade Mode and all character Combo Challenges, you can also earn Zeni.
Second is by beating Arcade’s ‘Hyperbolic Time Chamber Course’ with S-Rank or A-Rank on Hard Mode. To get to Hard Mode first, you need to clear out the normal difficulty one so the hard difficulty unlocks.
The Hard Mode consists of 7 matches in a row which are not walk in a park. A-rank requires you win quickly and have all characters alive at the end of the match. Meteor Attack is important to use if you want to earn extra points.
How to Unlock Vegeta SSGSS
To unlock Vegeta SSGSS, there are two different methods to unlock the character.
Zeni is very important to collect. Zeni is the game’s currency which is required to unlock new characters. To farm Zeni, you can complete the storyline and earn these points. Once completed, you can do it all over again in a Hard Mode which is very difficult. To unlock Vegeta SSGSS, you must have 300,000 Zeni in total.
‘Hyperbolic Time Chamber Course’ must be completed with A-rank or S-rank to unlock Vegeta SGSS. It is same as for Goku SSGSS but you must win 5 matches in a row and every character should be alive. There is a time limit so you must quickly finish the stage in A-rank or higher overall.
Unlock Android 21
Android 21 is not available at the start of the game. Once you have started playing the story mode, you will have to face different arc in the default difficulty. After completing each arc, a harder one will be available for you.
In the beginning, you will access the Super Warrior Arc. When completed, Enemy Warrior Arc will unlock. The game ends in Story Arc 3. Story Arc #1 has 9 Chapters and 15 Maps, Story Arc #2 has 9 Chapters and 13 Maps, and Story Arc #3 has 9 Chapters and 17 Maps. Once completing all these Arcs, Android 21 will join your roster and will be available for all other modes of the game.
Unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta
There are three different methods to unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. This section of our Dragon Ball FighterZ Unlocks Guide will help you in unlocking both these characters.
First is pre-ordering the game. Once you have pre-ordered the game, you will give a code that will unlock both Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. The preorder must be made before it launches on January 26, 2018. If you haven’t cashed on this opportunity, then there are two more ways to earn them.
Second, earn Zeni to unlock both characters. Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta takes 300,000 and to unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku, you need 500,000 Zeni. This is not an easy task to farm these Zeni currencies; it requires a lot of time and skill.
Third and the last requires a lot of skill depending on the player and his capability. To unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku, you need complete “Hyperbolic Time Chamber Course” in hard difficulty and to unlock Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, you must complete “Extreme Gravity Spaceship Course” quickie and in Hard Mode.
There are a few Finishing Moves played from the lens of Unreal 4 Engine that will full of artworks and epic animations brought to life. These moves are not that difficult and quite easy. Final attacks need to be a standing Heavy Attack.
Beerus – Battle of Gods
As a God, when Goku defeated on the Space Stage with a Heavy Attack.
Goku – Kid Buu Death
Goku Battling Majin Buu on the Supreme Kai Planet Stage and defeat him with a Heavy Attack.
Nappa – Yamcha Death
When fighting Yamcha, you need to unlock his iconic death when defeated with Heavy Attack on Rocky Field Stage.
Goku – Frieza Death
On planet Namek facing Frieza, you will destroy and defeat the Tyrant with a Heavy Attack.
Trunks – Frieza’s Second Death
Taking down Frieza on Rocky Field Stage with a Heavy Attack.
Teen Gohan – Father-Son Kame-Hame-Ha
Goku cannot be a part of this match on both sides. As Gohan, taking on Cell on the stage of Cell Games Arena destroys the arena with a Heavy Attack which should land on the opponent.
How to Summon Shenron
To summon Shenron, first, you need is to collect all 7 Dragon Balls. Dragon Ball is dropping depending on the hits like 10 hits, one ball and on 70 hits, 7 hits. You will not be able to Summon Shenron if you do not have seven bars of super meter.
Once all seven balls are collected, you need to cast Light Attack auto combo to Summon Shenron. On arrival, Shenron will give you four wished to choose from and those are mentioned below:
- Restore My Health: Restore your current character to full health.
- Bring Back My Ally: Revive a lost team member with 50 percent health.
- Give Me the Ultimate Power: Boost your Ki gauge to maximum (7 Bars).
- Make Me Immortal: Restore 5 percent of your health, and auto-restoration for your super meter
