As of today, the Far Cry 5 system requirements are officially out. Ubisoft has just released the minimum and recommended requirements for your PC to run the game on either low graphics, 60FPS, 4K and 4K 60FPS. Check them to find out if your PC can run it.

According to  PC version producer on Far Cry 5, Kirill Bragin “PC has always been a key element of Far Cry’s DNA, and this couldn’t be truer with Far Cry 5” so making it look and run perfectly on PC was a priority for the company. If you have seen the Far Cry 5 trailer you must have noticed the AMD Vega and Ryzen branding at the end. If AMD is working with Ubisoft then this could mean better optimization for AMD hardware, something that we don’t see happening in the requirements list below.

To help you optimise Far Cry 5 on your PC, the game will implement a benchmark feature and video memory usage meter, which will help you analyze your system and calibrate the myriad visual options, including variant aspect ratio support, FOV adjustment, optional FPS locking, and resolution scaling.

You can also check the original Far Cry 5 system requirements post to check if your GPU is supported by it. Far Cry 5 is scheduled for release on March 27, 2018, on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
