Monster Hunter: World is not going to be released any time soon on Nintendo Switch as the decision was made by the game directors Kaname Fujioka and Yuya Tokuda who said in an interview that “We don’t have any plans for the Switch at the moment”.
Few of the reasons were that the game was in development for roughly 4 years and they had to choose their hardware that was the best one to use for this game. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are one of the best gaming consoles of this current generation. So as we can see the decision was made even before the release of Nintendo Switch.
It’s also because that most of the gamers want to enjoy the concept of the game on either Xbox One or PlayStation 4. With that being said Nintendo also had a partnership with the previous Monster Hunter games but still this is a shock for the Nintendo Switch users.
There has been Monster Hunter: World Beta just released on the 19th of this January and there is also a rumor that loot boxes might come in this game as well.
With that being said, the developers of the game are having other plans, maybe new heights that they cannot achieve with the Nintendo Switch. That could be another reason for Monster Hunter not releasing on Switch anytime soon. Let us know in the comments below, would you like for this game to be released on Nintendo Switch?
