Metal Gear Survive Beta Is Now Live, Includes Three Co-Op Missions

If you are a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One owner then you should already be trying out Metal Gear Survive today. The awaited Metal Gear Survive Beta is now underway and will be available until January 21 on both consoles, including three co-op missions across two maps.

In order to play in the Metal Gear Survive Beta, you are required to have a PlayStation Plus Subscription if you own a PlayStation 4 and Xbox Live Gold membership if you are an Xbox One user. The game’s size is relatively small and will take a bit over 8GB of your hard drive on both consoles.

The Metal Gear Survive Beta includes the three first Co-op missions of the game across two maps as well as a daily mission, even though it’s just for 4 days. You’ll be able to play the game with up to three friends and also grab some sweet rewards for when Metal Gear Survive releases. The rewards include a Fox Hound nameplate, Metal Gear Rex Head and Bandana accessory.

From what everyone can see, Metal Gear Survive is an interesting “mix and match” of genres which, even if we doubted about it for quite some time now, it seems to be working just fine. Even Redditors, who tend to be a little overprotective about franchises, seem to be taking the gameplay of Metal Gear Survive as a good experience.

For what it’s worth, Metal Gear Solid Survive is actually well received by hardcore MGS fans. You can even catch a glimpse of the Metal Gear Survive Beta gameplay on Twitch where many streamers, including MGS veterans OuterHeaven are trying to find out how this game works.

Metal Gear Survive is set for release for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 20th in America and February 22nd in Europe.
