New Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta Will Last 24 Hours Starting Today

While the Dragon Ball FighterZ beta just finished up earlier this week, Bandai Namco is allowing another beta, this one lasting just 24 hours, in apology for how many server issues happened during the open beta period, leading to a number of dropped matches and difficulty connecting to other players.

With this new beta period, players will be able to log onto the game at 9 PM Pacific Standard Time, and will be ending at the same time the next day, so if you’re not willing to stay up for very long to play the game again then you’ll have some time tomorrow to do it instead.

With luck, this open beta will be more stable than the previous one, with players not being dropped while they’re in the middle of a match and being able to connect to more people. Whether that will actually happen, however, remains to be seen.

Either way, players will likely have access to the same group of characters that they had in the original beta, being Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Beerus, Cell, Frieza, and Kid Buu. While those aren’t the only characters in the game, Bandai Namco and ArcSystem Works are likely saving the rest for the actual game.

With the game’s release only around a week away, ArcSystem Works doesn’t have much time to get the servers to the point where they can handle the undoubtedly huge number of people that will be buying the game to play it.

So, if you didn’t get to play the Dragon Ball FighterZ beta to your satisfaction, all you have to do is wait up tonight or get on it tomorrow and play it as much as you can. Remember, not only can you see how the game plays, you can also get better with your team of choice before the launch.
