Final Fantasy XV PC Release Date Set for March 6, Confirmed With a Brand New Trailer

Final Fantasy XV PC has just been branded with a release date. Square Enix, the developer, and publisher of the Final Fantasy franchise has released a new trailer showing Final Fantasy XV PC release date and various features of the Windows Edition.

According to the footage we saw, Final Fantasy XV PC is releasing on March 6, 2018; that’s only a couple of months away. The long-rumored game has finally set foot in the world of PC gaming.

The game is powered by the Luminous Engine, Square Enix’s crown jewel that’s being used to develop great open world experiences. The PC version supports 4K high-resolution textures for detailed visuals and clarity. Final Fantasy XV is now also among the very first games to support Dolby Atmos.

Developers have optimized the game for Nvidia hardware but we hope it runs smoothly on AMD chips as well. We have proper support for Nvidia Gameworks, as confirmed by Square Enix. Not only that, Final Fantasy XV features Nvidia TurfEffects for realistic grass simulation while Nvidia Hairworks will provide realistic hair simulation for FFXV.

Nvidia Flow is added to enhance fire and smoke effects. Players will notice impressive shadow quality compared to the console versions thanks to Nvidia HFTS. To run this amazing game, players would need the following PC requirements.

Windows 10 w/ DirectX 11
Intel Core i5-2400 (3.15ghz) or AMD FX-6100 (3.3ghz) CPU
Geforce GTX760 or equivalent GPU

Windows 10 w/ DirectX 11
Intel Core i7-3770 (3.4ghz) or AMD FX-8350 (4.0ghz) CPU
Nvidia GTX 1060 or equivalent GPU

The Windows Edition is not only better in terms of graphics but it will also have more content.

Final Fantasy XV is not yet available to pre-order on Steam or other retailers but it soon should be.
