Far Cry 5 is scheduled to launch in March 2018 and with the game’s releasing getting closer Ubisoft has become active with the game’s marketing and has rolled a new Far Cry 5 trailer detailing in-game characters, co-op with friends, wildlife and more.
In this Far Cry 5 trailer, Creative Director Dan Hay and Associate Producer Philippe Fournier take us through different aspects of the game and give us some new details about the characters, co-op, wildlife, and more. Check out the Far Cry 5 trailer above.
Furthermore, Ubisoft has expressed that the studio wants the game to feel like “Training Day” and the game’s protagonist will not be an average Joe but will be a junior deputy who will be going in as support a warrant against the Father.
Also, Ubisoft has revealed that the fishing mini-game already became a “fan-favorite”. According to narrative director Jean-Sebastien Decant, fishing side-activity in Far Cry 5 has already become a “fan-favorite” as gamers have liked it very much when it was showcased during various events.
Because we discovered it when we went there, we put a lot of love on the fishing. For instance, there is a fly fishing minigame that can be played. This is already a fan-favorite when we presented the game in different places, people started to make a contest out of who would get the biggest fish.
Also, the game will feature full character customization in which the players can create their character the way they like. Players will be able to choose gender and adjust the appearance before starting the game.
Furthermore, the game will not feature any local co-op and players will only be able to play online co-op. However, no reason behind this decision was revealed hopefully Ubisoft might include local co-op in future.
Far Cry 5 is a first-person action shooter in development at Ubisoft for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and is scheduled to launch on March 27, 2o18.
