SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy was announced during the Nintendo Direct Mini. The game will fall on Switch and PS4 this summer where players can choose from their favorite SNK heroines and battle in a two-on-two fight using a one-button mechanic and a finisher move called Dream Finish. Amongst all the glitter and sparkle, players will also be able to customize their SNK Heroines so that they slay, literally and figuratively.
Already included and announced SNK heroines are Athena Asamiya, Kula Diamond, Leona Heidern, Mai Shiranui and Yuri Sakazaki. Here’s a little list of the SNK Heroines we want to see in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.
Nakoruru & Mamahaha
A frequent fan favorite, Nakoruru lands short range attacks with her kodachi and often avails the assistance of her pet hawk Mamahaha or wolf Shikuru. She’s the only heroine with a pet. Her calm nature and reflexive speed will be a great addition to SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.
This pesky, little supernatural sorcerer summons and binds evil spirits at her will. Not only this, she can also open portals into other dimensions to confuse her enemies, create clones of her enemies along with their powers to use against them, she can also render her opponents powerless and her attacks can have double the damage when she infuses spiritual energy into them. She is one little packet of power who we need in the new game.
The outgoing, keyboard playing Orochi fighter will be a fun addition to SNK Heroines. Shermie uses her Orochi powers to fight against her opponents as well as has the ability to completely ignore the weight of her opponents and throw them around.
The enigmatic Shiki was also one of the SNK Gals’ Fighters along with Shermie, Nakoruru, Yuri, Leona, Akari, Athena, and Mai. She has a sad soul but dark forces that enable her to use super speed, poison her enemies, drain the life out of them to heal herself and teleport to different locations to attack.
The mysterious and very skilled fighter, King employs styles of Muay Thai, a Korean style of kickboxing and Savate in her fights. Despite being known as highly violent and rigid, she also has a sensitive side that is rarely shown.
One of the most popular characters in Japan, Iroha is a crane that transforms into a Japanese maid. Given her general popularity along with fighting attributes, she has to be a part of the playable SNK Heroines.
This fan favorite that hails from Mexico is a literal superhuman, with her superhuman stamina, strength, reflexes, dexterity, and speed plus an overall fun personality; needs to be in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.
Blue Mary is another fan favorite on this list. She uses some moves inspired by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to perform energy attacks and grapple and throw.
Aptly named after the whip she carries, Whip is a quiet individual with amazing fighting abilities. Designed by the NEST, her whip can transform into a blade or a gun.
As the sponsor of The King of Fighters, Chizuru must make an appearance with her soft fighting style and powerful persona.
A nurse in training and a well-meaning foreigner, Alice adores her idol Terry and hopes to win his approval by emulating his fighting style. She’s fun and quirky.
A hardcore, violent and sadistic heroine, Vice is a refreshing polar opposite of the friendly and quirky SNK Heroines that we hope to make an appearance in the game- with killer fighting style and unapologetic pleasure for violence.
The berserk Wild Leona is the evil version of Leona; who is already included in the game. It will be interesting to have to either play with both these characters on the same side or against one another.
The most powerful female boxer-fighter in the SNK Heroines, Vanessa is also a free agent- more like a total badass.
The other half of the duo of her and Vice, Mature is ruthless and completes the ruthless and cruel women formula. Where there’s Vice, there’s Mature.
Among one of the popular characters, Yuki will bring her friendly nature, dedicated and innovative fighting style to the game and will be interesting to see her character.
Kasumi Todoh is a fan favorite with her joy for life and attempts to learn/speak English. It’s cute and we need that along with her killer projectile moves.
Sylvie’s strange yet childlike and innocent personality will be a nice welcome to SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. She can team up with virtually any other SNK Heroine and be a great tag team partner owing to her electromagnetic powers.
With her ability to stretch her limbs to extreme distances and use them as a whip against her opponents, Luong is a new arrival in The King of Fighters XIV and a rather intriguing one with her charms that we want to see her in the game.
Becoming among the fan favorites right after her debut, B. Jenet is a strong, dominant and feisty character that will add to the already strong ensemble of SNK Heroines.
A noblewoman who doesn’t like to tardy things, it will be pure fun to watch how Elisabeth Blanctorche will react to all the sparkle and glitter in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. Other than selfish reasons, she will be a handy addition with her short whip and Whip can be her worthy tag team partner.
Although Rose Bernstein doesn’t fight, she can be a charming addition as a non-playable character – someone who can be customized.
Hotaru Futaba isn’t just a fan favorite character but a ruthless one with an innocence and charm to her. Maybe in customization mode, we can unlock Hotaru made swords to give to other SNK Heroines, too.
Let us know which SNK Heroines you hope to play as in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy!
