Pre-orderers will be able to play Dragon Ball FighterZ at that time while all other players will have the chance to join the Beta on Sunday.

The Dragon Ball FighterZ Open Beta will include 11 playable characters: Goku, Beerus, Vegeta, Nappa, Frieza, Kid Buu, Cell, Adult Gohan, Krillin, Android 18, and Piccolo and its size will be relatively small, requiring 2.5GB of hard drive space. On Sunday the game will be available for everyone to play on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Beerus is also heading into the game, bringing some massive power to Dragon Ball FighterZ roster. The God of Destruction of the Dragon Ball universe is ready to annihilate his enemies with massive melee attacks and eye-popping magic ranged abilities. For more footage of his playstyle check his character trailer below:

As we mentioned some weeks ago, his special ability “God of Destruction’s Judgment” appears to be a grab move that follows with a forehead flick and combo. His “Sphere of Destruction” is a ball that explodes when touched by the opponent.

In addition, the company announced that 2 of the most powerful characters in the anime will be also part of the game, one of which is the mouth dropping Black Goku as well as Hit. Those additions bringing the roster to a total of 24 heroes.
