Developer EA DICE has been making some tweaks and balances along with new additions to Battlefront 2 and it seems like the game might be getting private matches, new Star Wars Battlefront 2 character skins, changes to rolling and dodging mechanic, and more.
Design Director Dennis Brännvall took it to the Twitter and revealed the addition of Private matches and tweaks to Star Wars Battlefront 2 while replying to fans.
According to Brännvall, the studio is looking into the possibility of including private matches to Star Wars Battlefront 2 and also confirmed that the studio has tweaked the rolling and dodging ability.
He also added that the studio is also looking to fix the issue where hero abilities become locked during matches. Also, he revealed that the studio will soon share some details about new Star Wars Battlefront 2 character skins.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 sell well below EA’s expectations, however, according to the industry analyst, Micheal Patcher, think that the conclusion about Star Wars Battlefront 2 sales is a little premature as the fan’s loyalty will bring the retail sales back on track.
The sell-off in recent weeks appears overdone. Although Star Wars Battlefront II had a weaker-than-expected debut in terms of its domestic physical sell-through, we believe that the loyalty of the Star Wars fan base, the game’s appeal as a holiday gift, and the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on December 15 will result in sales of the game bouncing back in the December retail month.
Also, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is the most downloaded game on PS Store for the month of December followed by FIFA 18, Call of Duty: WWII, and GTA V.
However, there is a catch as Star Wars Battlefront II has managed to become the most downloaded game in December for European PS Store.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is first-person multiplayer shooter developed by EA DICE for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
