Nintendo dropped this year’s Nintendo Direct mini without any announcement and also announced quite a few titles such as Dark Souls remastered and more for its hybrid console.
However, some of you might have missed all the Nintendo Switch announcements made by Nintendo at Nintendo Direct Moni 2018, so we will be listing all the games that were announced for Switch at the event so that you can keep track of them.
Pokken Tournament DX Deluxe Battle Pack
Nintendo announced Pokken Tournament DX DLC, The Deluxe Battle Pack, at the event that will bring new characters to the game. The Deluxe Battle Pack will be a paid DLC and the content will be dropped in two waves.
The first wave of content will drop on January 31, which will include support set Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu and a new battle character, Aegislash. The content drop will be on March 23, which will include support set of Mew and Celebi along with new battle character, Blastoise,
Hyrule Warriors Ultimate Edition
Hyrule Warriors Ultimate Edition will be the definitive edition of the game that will be available this spring. The Ultimate Edition will include all of the DLC from 3DS and Wii U releases.
Not only that, the Ultimate Edition will also include Breath Of the Wild themed costumes and couch co-op.
Mario Tennis Aces
Nintendo also announced Mario Tennis Aces at Nintendo Direct Moni 2018. The game is being developed by Camelot who has previously worked on a number of Mario Sports titles. The game will also feature a story mode.
Kirby Star Allies
Nintendo showed off some new footage of Kirby Star Allies at Nintendo Direct Mini showcasing some new abilities. Players will be able to mix some abilities while playing with friends in co-op. The game will be available on March 16.
Dragon Quest Builders Demo
The Dragon Quest Builders Demo will be available by the end of January.
The World Ends With You
The World Ends With You will see the re-release on Nintendo Switch. Players will be able to play with either touchscreen or traditional controls. The game will launch later this year but no specific release window has been announced.
Super Mario Odyssey
Nintendo announced an upcoming update for Super Mario Odyssey that will allow players to play as Luigi once players have ended the story. With Luigi, players will have access to Balloon World mode, a competitive mode that will see players hiding balloons for other players to find. The update will also include some new filters for the photo mode along with three new outfits.
Mario + Rabbids DLC
Nintendo announced Mario + Rabbids DLC at Nintendo Direct that will bring a new character to the game, Donkey Kong.
Payday 2was already announced for Nintendo Switch before Nintendo Direct, however, Nintendo has announced a release date for the game. Payday 2 will launch on February 27, 2018.
SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy
SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy will only feature female fighters from SNK’s number of fighting games.
Fe and Celeste
More third-party titles for Nintendo Switch announced at the event. Both of these games come from publisher EA. Fe will be available on February 16 while Celeste will drop on January 25 for Nintendo Switch.
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze originally launched for Wii U and this Switch re-release will be available on May 4. The game will be updated with a new character, Funky Kong.
Dark Souls Remastered
Following a string of leaks and rumors, Nintendo announced Dark Souls Remastered a Nintendo Direct Mini. The game will be available on May 25, 2018.
