Expected to release to release on 16th February this year the port will also apparently include new features according to the developer Platinum Games.
A teaser for the Bayonetta remaster released by Nintendo showed video of the action-adventure classic being played on Nintendo Switch.
Bayonetta 1 originally released on the last-gen PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles back in 2009, later being ported to the Wii U.
Bayonetta fans who are interested in buying the much-awaited port will also have to keep in mind they need at least 8.5 GB in the internal memory of the console or memory stick in order to download or install Bayonetta 1 on their Switch. While requiring around 12 GB worth of space for Bayonetta 2.
It’s also important to note that physical versions of Bayonetta 1 will not be hitting Western Markets, unlike Bayonetta 2. So to Play Bayonetta, you will have to download the digital version.
The newly added features in the remastered ports are local cooperative play with the previously only co-op Tag Climax becoming available on local too. The other added features include support for amiibo, including the one from the Super Smash Bros series and video capture support for the first time, constantly recording your gameplay.
In related Bayonetta news, upcoming Bayonetta 3 will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive as President of Nintendo America Reggie Fils-Aime revealed in a surprise announcement during the Game Awards 2017.
