Soul Calibur 6 Can Be Played at EVO Japan in January

During a recent streamed event of Tekken 7 on Bandai Namco’s official Twitch channel, it was announced that Soul Calibur 6 will be playable during Evo Japan 2018.

Soul Calibur 6 has been in production and is nearly complete and with such a big event around the corner, this is a great opportunity for Namco to show its progress.

Soul Calibur is a weapons-based fighter series with an array of great characters plus some of the famous gaming icons making guest appearances like Ezio from Assasins Creed, Kratos from God of War, Darth Vader from Star Wars franchise, and Yoshimitsu from the all famous Tekken, etc.

The expectation is to see some new characters together with the old ones. Maybe Namco will be generous enough to show us a few of the new characters along with gameplay features. Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode I is a favorite for the new roster, additionally, some characters from Tekken have also been in discussion in the forums. Let us see which ones will grace us with their presence this time.

The character creation system is also a great feature and is expected to be much better with a lot more for the players to choose from. Maybe we will get some new weapons and costumes to equip with our custom characters with.

The previous titles, while not massive, were fairly good and delivered a different take than the usual fighting genre of game as previously seen but with time those takes got old and much of it felt repetitive. Although they did try to make some changes to the gameplay and techniques but they were not enough. So we expect more new features that will make this title different than the rest.

Soul Calibur 6 will be playable from 26-28 January at Evo Japan 2018.
