CD Projekt RED Job Opening Needs Filling By A Character Artist
In a game like CD Projekt RED’s upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077, the characters of the game are just as important as the story since you’ll be using them throughout the entire game. Now, a CD Projekt RED job opening needs filling, and it specifically needs to be filled by a character artist.
The senior character artist that CDPR is looking for would be responsible for creating humanoid characters of high quality, meaning that the models of these characters and the images of them have to be top-notch. If you think you have what it takes, you’ll have to prove it, because the posting says that the applicants must show that they’ve been involved in creating characters for triple-A games in the past.
Ever since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt put forward a new standard for how open-world games should be created, the studio has gotten a lot more press, especially considering that due to the success of the Witcher games, Cyberpunk 2077 has been on the backburner for several years.
We still don’t know much about the game, just various tidbits and leaks, but hopefully having such high requirements for a character artist in the CD Projekt RED job opening means that Cyberpunk will be just as good, if not better, than Wild Hunt.
Regardless, we still haven’t seen any gameplay for Cyberpunk, and there’ve been rumors that the game has had all of its development scrapped back to a certain point and been stripped down of several things. While this hopefully won’t have too much of a negative impact on development, what we do know is the game will be releasing sometime next year on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
If you think that you can fill the CD Projekt RED job opening, you can apply on the company’s job board on their website.
