Bayonetta 2 Switch Changes Include Amiibo Support And Local Multiplayer
Platinum Games announced Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch at the Game Awards 2017 along with Bayonetta 2 Switch port, however, Bayonetta 2 will also see some changes on the Nintendo Switch that will be exclusive to the hybrid console.
Bayonetta 2 Switch changes will include the addition of local play to the multiplayer provided that every player owns a Bayonetta 2 copy for Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, the game will also support amiibo that will unlock exclusive Nintendo-themed costumes, however, these costumes can be unlocked by progressing through the game.
Platinum Games has only announced that Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch and no release window has been announced. However, a rumor has been making rounds on the internet suggesting Bayonetta 3 will launch in Summer 2018.
According to the report, the game might release in summer but the release window will not go any further ahead than 2018.
I cannot personally reveal my source, but I have it on good authority from a reliable source that Bayonetta 3 will be released this year, maybe this summer. It will not be released later than 2018 barring a disaster.
Also, that is not the only rumor regarding upcoming Switch games as another report suggests that Konami will be bringing the Wii Rebirth trilogy to Switch which includes Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth, Contra ReBirth, and Gradius ReBirth. The report suggests that Konami is bringing the Wii Rebirth Trilogy along with a new tile to Nintendo Switch.
Another rumor has been making rounds on the internet that Rockstar Games will announce Switch versions of GTA V and Red Dead Redemption. According to the leak, Red Dead Redemption remastered will also be announced for Switch at Nintendo Direct.
Bayonetta 3 is a third-person action adventure title in development at Platinum Games and will launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
