Bandai Namco Apparently Teasing Something, Could It Be A New IP?
Bandai Namco Entertainment is known for publishing some of the well-known franchises like Dark Souls, Tekken, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and more and now the company has teased something through its Twitter account.
Whatever Bandai Namco is teasing is related to Justice as the company has only shared a screenshot with a caption “Justice”. Aside from the screenshot and the caption, Bandai Namco didn’t give any explanation as what is it they are teasing. Check out the screenshot below.
Fans speculate that the tease is related to DragonBall Fighter Z and could be Goku Black but, until Bandai Namco officially reveals it, we can only speculate.
Also, this could be one of the three new Nintendo Switch games that will be revealed this year by Bandai Namco. According to company President Mitsuaki Taguchi, 3 new Nintendo Switch games will be announced between Summer and Spring 2018.
He further added that the company has enough resources at its disposal through which is can develop games for PC and current-gen consoles along with focusing on Switch. However, this is hardly surprising since Nintendo Switch has proved to be very successful.
Furthermore, Bandai Namco has also partnered for a new IP with Life is Strange developer Dotnod Entertainment.
This new IP will take place in a fictional US city and will include “a fair dose of investigation” and the game has been in production since 2016.
No details have been revealed about this new IP but the game will be revealed in 2018. Also, if you are worried that this will affect the development of Life is strange 2, then rest assured as the studio has said that it won’t affect the studio’s ongoing work on Life Is Strange 2 as the game is being developed by a separate team.
