200 Million Deaths Have Been Recorded In Dark Souls 2 Alone Since Its Launch
Dark Souls games are known for being challenging which means that players die a lot in the game and developer From Software has revealed that there have been 200 million deaths recorded for Dark Souls 2 alone. The Studio revealed it through an in-game message.
These 200 million deaths in Dark Souls 2 take both the base version and the Scholar Of the First Sin version into account. While Dark Souls titles are difficult but still these 200 million deaths in Dark Souls 2 alone is quite surprising.
In related news, Dark Souls titles are known for their difficulty but some hardcore fans take it upon themselves to complete self-imposed challenges and prove their skills like players defeating all Dark Souls 3 bosses without taking a hit and more. However, one speedrunner, NaxHPL, has done something way more interesting.
NaxHPL has set a new record to achieve every Dark Souls achievement in just under four hours. This Dark Souls Speedrun is unlike the normal speedruns in which players have to get to the end as fast as possible but, NaxHPL has taken the time to ensure he earns every achievement in the game as quickly as possible.
From Software is currently working on a new title for which the studio revealed a teaser trailer at the Game Awards 2017. However, apart from the teaser trailer, nothing is known about the game itself and there has been a lot of speculation that the upcoming title might be Bloodborne 2.
Dark Souls 3 is the latest and seems to be the the last entry in the Dark Souls franchise as according to From Software president Hidetaka Miyazaki, it is time for the team to move on from the franchise.
