Nintendo and Bethesda have a very lucrative and mutually beneficial partnership. Both companies have joined forces to bring the most popular Bethesda games to Nintendo Switch. According to Bethesda, the Japanese video games giant has been very helpful and cooperative so far.
Speaking in a recent interview, Andrew Scharf, Lead Producer at Bethesda Game Studios, stated that Nintendo is a “fantastic partner” for their company. Meanwhile, fans of Nintendo hardware have also been super supportive of Bethesda games.
Bethesda is working on Doom, Skyrim, and Wolfienstien 2 for Nintendo Switch. So far that’s it for 2018 but since both companies are enjoying their time together, we can expect them to announce more games in the near future.
Hopefully, Nintendo’s E3 2018 event will bring news regarding more Bethesda games for Switch.
We’re really excited to be launching our games on Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo has been a fantastic partner for us. The fans of Nintendo’s hardware have been super supportive and excited for these games and we hope they enjoy exploring Skyrim, as well as blasting demons in DOOM and fighting Nazis in Wolfenstein II. We haven’t announced anything for Switch following Wolfenstein II in 2018, but if and when we do, we will let you know.
Nintendo Switch games library is growing by the day. The most impressive part of the scenario is the overwhelming third part support this device has. Nintendo Switch stock running out everywhere almost everytime it is available encouraged third-party developers to release more Nintendo Switch games.
Nintendo Switch price is also a factor as it is cheaper than Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, PS4 Pro and is compatible compared to its competitors. The hardware lacks a strong punch but there is enough under the hood to support demanding games, after making a few sacrifices here and there, of course.
