Since its advent in 1998, Level-5 Inc. has been behind some of the most legendary Japanese franchises to ever grace the earth. Some of their acclaimed franchises include Inazuma Eleven, Yo-kai Watch, and Ni no Kuni. The company is fast approaching its twentieth anniversary, and they laid out their plans for the future in an interview with the Dengeki PlayStation magazine.
Speaking to the guys over at Dengeki Playstation, Ni no Kuni developer Level-5 were the stars of the “Creator’s Interviews” feature. In the feature, Dengeki sat down with the president of the company, Akihiro Hino. Akihiro outlined some major plans that Level 5 plans to pursue as they approach their twenties.
“Perhaps what would excite the fans of the studio the most is the fact that the company is planning to release a major title as a way to commemorate their twenty years in the industry.”
Apart from this, there are numerous other tidbits in the magazine. Yosuke Hayashi mentions his plan to make Nioh bigger than ever before and warns the consumers to keep an eye out for updates. Naoya Shimokawa mentions how he yearns for an anime adaption of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth and Hideo Kojima says that the development of Death Standing is going faster than any game he has ever seen before. Surely his reputation warrants massive excitement for the release of the title.
