Catherine: Full Body Gets A New Character, Western Release Announced

As might already know, there is a remake for the PlayStation 3 classic, Catherine, coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita next year. Catherine: Full Body will include new endings, new puzzles, new events and an anime movie of the game. There will also be a new unique storyline that introduces a new character, Rin.

As it seems, Vincent’s love life isn’t over after the end of Catherine. Rin, Vincent’s new center of interest, is a pianist at the bar he frequents. She is the third Catherine in the game and is the center character in a new trailer that Atlus has revealed today.

In the trailer, we see Rin in various cuts, all take from game footage instead of the anime movies we see featuring the other two Catherines. There are also small bits of gameplay, reminding us why we loved to hate this game when it first came out.

Furthermore, the western release of Catherine: Full Body was also announced by Atlus for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The announcement reads:

Is it a nightmare or a dream come true? A new test of Vincent Brooks’ morality is about to take the stage.

ATLUS today announced that Catherine: Full Body will be coming to the West. This new twist on the original Catherine, a mature romantic action-adventure puzzle game from the makers of the Persona series, will include a new love interest, “Rin,” with distinct storyline elements for the character, and additional puzzle content.

Vincent’s love life has never been so complicated and dramatic!

Vincent’s apartment hasn’t seen the last of the sensual people in his life. With new storyline elements for both Catherine and Katherine, players will have ample opportunity for new experiences in Catherine: Full Body.

Catherine: Full Body doesn’t have a stated release date but is expected to launch next winter in 2018 in Japan, Europe, and America. Furthermore, the game will feature cross-save between the two platforms.
