Blizzard has begun selling Overwatch League tickets for the first stage of matches when the inaugural season officially begins early next month. Those interested in watching live from the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles, and meet up with their favorite players, will want to hurry before the venue is sold out.
The competitive proceedings will begin with San Francisco Shock going up against Los Angeles Valiant on Wednesday, January 10. Following an entire month, the first stage of matches will conclude with Florida Mayhem locking horns with Philadelphia Fusion on Saturday, February 10.
Overwatch League tickets can be purchased for any day from the official website. They are all categorized under general admission and do not include special or backstage passes that cost extra. The tickets for Wednesday through Friday cost $20, while Saturday costs $30.
“Join us for a unique IRL experience at Blizzard Arena, with an immersive stage complete with game integration,” Blizzard exclaimed in an announcement. “Watch hero swaps, health bars, and ultimates charge in real time with the side-by-side hero screens, and monitor capture progress with the swooping LED progress indicator.”
In addition, a Blizzard Gear store present on the site will be packed with various merchandise for Overwatch and the Overwatch League. There will also be scheduled fan-signing sessions for the community.
The Overwatch League will see twelve teams fighting for honor and glory. Each will play twice a week over a five-week stage. The top three teams determined for a stage will then compete in a seeded playoff on the weekend for the prize pot.
