The Champions Ballad is the second DLC for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a slightly more difficult game than its vanilla counterpart. To start the quest for the new DLC, you need to find four different shrines on the Great Plateau, which can be arduous.
This Zelda: Breath of the Wild Champions Ballad EX Shrines Guide will tell you the precise locations of all four of the Shrines so that you can quickly complete this part of the game and move on to the more exciting stuff.
How to Start Zelda: Breath of the Wild Champions Ballad EX Shrines
Each of the Shrines is being guarded by a lot of enemies, and you are dead even on the first hit. The Shrines also require you to do challenges such as obstacles courses or lengthy combats with various strange enemies. The first step of the quest makes you take on all four of the shrines, so let’s find out how you can do that.
In our Champions Ballad EX Shrines Guide, we have detailed everything that you need to know in order to find and complete all the EX Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild Champions Ballad EX Shrines
If you want to start the quest, then head on to the Shrine of Resurrection on the Great Plateau. Now place the Sheikah Slate and pick up the One Hit Obliterator to start the quest. With this weapon, you can kill enemies in one hit while simultaneously also dying in one hit. The ability has two charges.
When you pick up the Obliterator, you will be able to see four markers with four monsters. You need to defeat all four to see the four shrines from where you can continue forward.
Breath of the Wild Champions Ballad Yowaka Ita Shrine
To get this shrine, defeat the Bokoblins to witness its appearance. Then dodge the balls in the ramp and then look at the empty receptacle near the closed gate and the altar.
Use Magnesis on the bowl below you. At this point, many balls will start falling down the ramp. You need to get the small orange ball and take it to the starting area without dropping it. Remember to get the bowl as well.
After this, remove the ball from the bowl and take it up the spiked obstacle ramp. Keep on doing this to complete this part of the quest. You can make your life easier by grabbing the metal balls with Magnesis and placing them on the ground.
Breath of the Wild Champions Ballad Ruvo Korbah Shrine
Go to the south side of Temple of Time, killing the Bokoblin riders in your way. You will eventually go up against an extremely renowned ancient who can kill you in one hit. However, you can also kill him with one hit so use your shield well and take him out.
The gate of the altar will unlock once the ancient is dead to collect your treasure. Then step on the button to lower the platform in the center of the shrine. Fight the Ancient Guardians when you glide down the platform. Keep on going to the left and killing enemies until you find the Chest.
Breath of the Wild Champions Ballad Rohta Chigah Shrine
Go to the hill and sneak around to the top of the hill so that you can kill the Lizalfos below. Now enter the shrine and use Magnesis to use the metal platforms. When you face the wall of spikes next, use Stasis on the second gear. Now keep on moving the conveyor to make your passage through the spikes easier.
At last, press the button to run from the wall of spikes in the passage which will try to kill you. Use Stasis on the stone locks to dodge them out and complete the challenge.
Breath of the Wild Champions Ballad Etsu Korima Shrine
Go to Mount Hylia and climb to the peak to find a Wizzrobe. Destroy it using Bomb Arrows and then drop down to the Shrine. It will be pitch black with lasers and torches being the only convenience. Run from one torch to the next and stay safe until you get to the third room.
In the third room, wait for the flames to subside and then get to the fourth room. Here kill enemies as much as you can and as fast as you can to clear the Art.
