The long-awaited Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is finally ready to grace the anxious hands of the fighting game community early next year, Capcom announced during Capcom Cup 2017.
It will bundle twelve installments from the iconic franchise; including all releases for Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter Alpha, and Street Fighter III.
This is essentially the largest collection of Street Fighter games ever assembled. Whether you are someone who missed out on the older installments or were hitting the arcades back then, there is something in this collection for every fan.
- Street Fighter
- Street Fighter II
- Street Fighter II: Champion Edition
- Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting
- Super Street Fighter II
- Super Street Fighter II: Turbo
- Street Fighter Alpha
- Street Fighter Alpha 2
- Street Fighter Alpha 3
- Street Fighter III
- Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact
- Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike will be the only select few from the list above to be playable online. They will include support for lobbies, casual and ranked modes, as well as leaderboards.
The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will also include “comprehensive galleries” with artwork, an interactive sprites and animations viewer, character bios, and a music player for those retro tracks. When playing offline, players will not have to worry about losing progression because of how every single game in the collection saves at every point.
The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will officially release in May 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. It will set you back $40.
