Nintendo Switch is Getting More Than Bayonetta 3, More Bayonetta Games Coming

The Game Awards brought with it many surprises and in some cases put all the previous rumors and speculations to rest. Platinum Games used this platform in a similar manner by announcing that the Bayonetta series is on its way to the Nintendo Switch console. Both Bayonetta 1 and 2 will be available to enjoy on the Nintendo Switch as of February 18th, 2018.

Platinum Games took the announcement one step further by announcing that Bayonetta 2 will be available on a cartridge which can be easily purchased from any retailer whilst Bayonetta 1 will bound to be included as a digital download.

Bayonetta was first launched by Platinum Games back in 2009 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. However, the demand and popularity of this game have been immense forcing developers to create versions for Windows PC and Wii U.

But sadly the new Bayonetta 3 is a Nintendo Switch Exclusive game. This is a sign of the popularity this game has in the Nintendo Switch community. Furthermore, it was posted on the Platinum Games’ website that the Nintendo Switch release of Bayonetta 2 will include some special features for Nintendo Switch gamers as well.

The post, however, has since been deleted there is not soon enough for us to pick up on the scent. As is being speculated the exclusive features being added include:

1) Local Wireless Co-operative play
2) Amiibo Support
3) Video Capture Support

Platinum Games has made things all the more exciting for Nintendo Switch gamers this December. This news comes to many after a long wait and all Bayonetta fanatics are sure to have a ball once this world-renowned game hits the scene.
