AMD Ryzen 2 Pinnacle Ridge Coming In March 2018, Leaked Slides Reveal Price, Release, Specs And More
AMD Ryzen 2 Pinnacle Ridge is all set to launch in March 2018 according to the AMD roadmaps that we have seen so far. There have been some leaked slides as well that we are going to talk about later on in this article. AMD Ryzen 2 Pinnacle Ridge chips will offer better performance as compared to the current ones that we have on the market right now.
The release process will be the same as the current AMD Ryzen CPUs with Ryzen 7 coming out first followed by AMD Ryzen 5 and AMD Ryzen 3 coming out at the very end. The new chips will be made on Globalfoundries’ 12LP process node which should increase efficiency and we will know for sure once the chips are out and we have a chance to have a go at them.
The AMD Ryzen 2 Pinnacle Ridge chips will compete with the upcoming Intel 9th generations CPUs and if the rumors are true then these chips will feature 8 cores and 16 threads much like the AMD Ryzen 7 CPUs. We will have to see what Intel does in order to differentiate itself from the competition. AMD already has 8 cores and 16 threads to it will be a tough act to beat.

The leaked slide mentions different specifications like cores and threads as well as clock speeds, prices and released date but do not buy into this. These slides are not legit.
Ryzen 10 slides were also released and you can check them out below as well.
Let us know what you think about these AMD Ryzen 2 Pinnacle Ridge chips and whether or not you are interested in buying one of these chips when they come out next year.
