It was a clean sweep at last night’s Game Awards with The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild bringing home Best Action/Adventure, Best Direction, and the most prestigious award, Game of the Year. This gave Eiji Aonuma, the series producer, a chance to take center stage and announce that the second DLC pack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is out now.
The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC pack 2 is called The Champion’s Ballad. It comes with a new piece of story content where Link is being guided by an invisible voice. It guides him to accept the Divine Beast Master’s Trial which has new dungeons and weapons. Upon completion of this trial, you can summon the Master Cycle Zero, a motorbike with a huge chunk of perks of its own.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild also has a hidden quest given by the traveling bard Kass. If you help Kass finish his songs, he is able to discover information from the Champion’s and Princess Zelda’s past during Link’s days of slumber.
If this is not more than enough, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC pack 2 has nine new hidden items. These items are a way of paying tribute to several The Legend of Zelda games over the years. Other than this admirable gesture, there’s an Ancient Horse Gear hidden in chests around Hyrule. Safe to say that this Breath of the Wild DLC is looking a complete value for money.
Priced at £17.99 in the UK, DLC pack 2 is part of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Season Pass. Purchasing this allows you to access the previous DLC titled The Master trials as well.
