Destiny 2 Fans Are Disappointed With The Game, Here Is What They Have To Say

Destiny 2 fans are very disappointed with what Bungie has done with the game so far. Here is what people are saying about the game.

Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC just came out and people were expecting to see some new content but it seems that some content is locked behind the DLC for people that are not going to buy it. A bummer if you did not plan on buying the Curse of Osiris DLC. Having that said there are issues with the game that need to be fixed.

People are pretty upset with Destiny 2 and it is justified. people have been waiting for a long time and the dedication of the fans was bound to run out at some point in time. People were going to move on if Bungie did something wrong or tried to pull off the same old shit and that is what has happened here.

According to Reddit user coledsprouts:

The sound, the gameplay, the graphics, the world design, the sky boxes, the enemy combatants, the way our guns feel and look, these are all things Destiny always got right. No matter what dumbfounded decision the heads over at the sandbox team made, no matter what moronic decision the PvP leads made, the Artists, the Composers, the Engineers always went above and beyond with their work and for that I am extremely grateful. They were one of the major reasons I kept playing and poured so much time and effort into the betterment of this game.

I have to agree with the guy, Destiny 2 gameplay, audio, graphics, design and everything else is pretty great but the content is lacking and the whole progression system conspiracy has put people off. coledsprouts did not stop there. He further went on to say that:

But after 3 years it’s clear to me now that the people who call the shots will never allow this game to reach its true potential for whatever reason it may be, whether it be arrogance, ignorance or both. So I’d just like to say thank you to the true heart and soul of Destiny. The people who actually wrote those millions of lines of code and gave us an FPS experience like no other. The people who gave me goosebumps over and over again just through the music and sounds.

The community is very emotional right now and while some people mad there are those that are sad and disappointed. Glamdring804 talked about how Destiny 2 is and how the developers have not done the game justice by saying the following:

It’s sad. I fell in love with the lore and the design and the atmosphere of Destiny’s world, and Bungie just refuses to do justice to it.

It is really sad to see what is going on. After what happened with EA people were encouraging Bungie for not taking the same route but it seems that we were all wrong. RiseofIronHype had the following to say about the issue:

Really tired of seeing Bungie making headlines for the wrong reasons, wrong meaning they did something dumb. Feels like every time they’re in the news, it’s for something bad. Get it together already! Doesn’t it bother you at all?! Bothers me, I don’t even work there!Obviously I dunno what goes on internally, but after ANOTHER chart topping “Bungie hides vanilla content behind DLC,” reddit spree, it’s just driving me nuts. I’m mad for you, I’m mad at you. Obviously Bungie cares, but christ man. Gimme a good headline. I want to be sympathetic, but I can’t when it feels like things like these headlines happen on a regular basis.

All things conidered there were people that were very emotional about the incident and did not like that Bungie was making the headlines in a negative sense. Which is touching to think that the developers have made a game that people are so attached to. Too bad they made some mistakes along the way. According to WireDepp:

I want Bungie and Activision to make fair money.
I want them to pay every Artist, Programmer, Developer, Designer and everyone else who works there.
I don’t want to play a game that only rewards players if they spend additional money in the in game store.
I don’t want to see all my friends leave again because there is nothing meaningful to do.
I don’t want to see Destiny in the negative headlines anymore.

Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC just came out and that has also pissed some people off. The following is what noisia_steampunk had to say about the Destiny 2 DLC:

Its short and underwhelming. Doesn’t bring anything game changer to the table. A long list of sandbox changes doesn’t add on to a DLC. CoO is literally an update and It should be have been free. You guys even went to an extent and locked people out for prestige modes. How could you even do that? I mean people already paid for it so how can you even think of doing this? Do you have an sort of respect or ethics regarding your players? Shame on you ! and its plain disgusting. I barely dragged myself just to at least get one of my characters through Story. I wont even bother grinding my other two through the story its that boring apart from the last boss which was fun.

Let us know what you think about Destiny 2 and what you think Bungie should do in order to make up for the mistakes that have been made so far.
