A new Furi Nintendo Switch port will be coming to Nintendo’s console in early 2018 for the bargain price of 20 dollars. The game, a character action title that focuses mainly on you fighting a succession of different bosses, was originally only available for the Playstation 4 and the PC, until July and now.
Furi tells the story of a prisoner who’s been locked inside a massive fortress that’s watched over by a number of different powerful warriors. After breaking free, he must make his way out of the prison, fighting numerous other wardens and even some prisoners in order to escape to the planet below it. But that’s not all that the game’s plot involves.
While it originally only released on the Playstation 4 and the PC, the game was later ported to the Xbox One over the summer, and is now making its way to the Nintendo Switch in 2018, though we don’t actually have a release date for the game yet. We’ll likely be getting one as the Fury Nintendo Switch port date gets closer, or if you already own a PC that can run it, or a Playstation 4 or Xbox One in addition to your Switch, you can buy it and play it now.
While it’s not a long game by any sort of stretch of the imagination, Furi does have a rather unique and stylish aesthetic that you’ll get a full experience of while playing through it. The game’s combat mechanics will make each boss fight tense and exciting, and there’s even a speedrun mode in the game, so if you’re into speedrunning then you don’t even have to worry about timing yourself.
So, if you’re up for a bargain and yet another high-quality indie game for your Nintendo Switch, look forward to the new Furi Nintendo Switch port sometime in the early months of next year.
