First Pokemon Ultra Sun And Moon Global Mission Is A Failure
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon launched earlier this month with stellar reviews and financial success, however, the game’s first global mission has been a failure. The first Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon global mission tasked players with capturing a total of 10 million Pocket Monsters.
However, players came up short to capture 10 million Pokemon for the first Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon global mission and only managed to capture 5.4 million Pokemon. The global mission started on November 17 and ended on November 27.
Unfortunately, the goal for the “Catch a lot of Pokémon!” global mission wasn’t reached. A huge thanks to everyone who contributed their Pokémon tally in an effort to catch 10,000,000 Pokémon worldwide in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon. But not all is lost—everyone who added their Pokémon to the count will receive a participation prize of 1,000 Festival Coins (PGL members will get 2,000 Festival Coins)!
Check with the global mission receptionist in Festival Plaza to receive your participation prize.
Good luck next time, Trainers!
Also, developer Game Freak has confirmed that Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will be the last Pokemon title on 3DS from the studio.
According to director Shigeru Ohmori, following the launch of Pokemon X&Y the team thought that they got all out of 3DS with the release of the title but, then 3DS was completely redesigned and then the team has even pushed the redesigned 3DS to its limits.
Pokemon Ultra Sun And Moon is an RPG developed by Game Freak exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
