There has been a lot of hype surrounding the Razer Phone ever since there was a rumor about the device coming out. Like Apple, we have seen that the Razer Phone does not have a headphone jack and that can be a bummer for a few people especially if you have special headphones that you like to use and they are not wireless.
While Apple claimed to be bringing an innovation by doing so and said that this was the way forward. Razer CEO Ming-Liang Tan had a more technical answer. According to him removing the headphone jack from the Razer Phone allowed the company to make a couple of adjustments to the phone that would not have been possible otherwise.
By removing the headphone jack the Razer Phone is able to have a bigger battery. The difference made was of 500mAh. There were also some improvements to thermals and sound as well whether you are using wireless headphones or using USB.
