The December Xbox Games with Gold games have finally been announced, and there’s a lot of good ones among them. These include Warhammer: The End Times–Vermintide, Back To The Future: The Game 30th Anniversary Edition, Child of Eden, and Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death, all for Xbox consoles.
It’s a wide variety of different games that is sure to have something for everybody. For instance, Vermintide takes place in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, specifically during the final story arc known as the End Times when the world came under siege by every evil faction at once.
You play as one of five different protagonists who fight to save the city of Ubersreik from an invasion of the hideous rat-men known as the Skaven. It’s a Left 4 Dead-style team-based game that actually has a sequel coming next year.
Back To The Future: The Game is a Telltale title, and is an episodic adventure title much like some of their other games. Players take on the role of Marty McFly as he travels back to 1931 in order to prevent Doc Hudson’s death at the hands of Irving Tannen, the father of Biff Tannen.
The third of the December Xbox Games with Gold games is Child of Eden, a rhythm action game that uses the Kinect, if you’re into that sort of thing. However, you can grab it if you still want to use your console’s kinect.
The last of the December Xbox Games With Gold games is Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death, a character action game by Zootfly where you take on the role of smokejumper (a type of fireman) Marlow Briggs as he fights to rescue his girlfriend from an evil businessman, while gaining the powers of the Aztec gods in the process.
All of these games will become available for free if you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription, so if any of them interest you, don’t hesitate to pick them up!
