Adventures in Destiny 2 add a lot to the lore, however, rewards tied to the adventures never felt worth the try and to fix that Bungie has announced that Curse of Osiris expansion will add Destiny 2 Heroic Adventures with modifiers.
Bungie didn’t reveal many details about Destiny 2 Heroic Adventures and how they would differentiate from the regular Adventures in the game, however, Community Manager Deej revealed that difficult quests will have modifiers and each time players completes a Destiny 2 Heroic adventure, the modifiers change which will encourage players to replay it.
While it will be interesting to see Heroic Adventures with rotating modifiers but the community is most interested in what the rewards will be for completing the Heroic Adventure.
In related news, players have been reporting that there is a cooldown timer in DEstiny 2 that limits that number of XP earned in the game.
Earning the XP is the only way to get your hands on Bright Engrams, which is Destiny 2’s version of loot boxes. The Bright Engrams can be bought with Silver an in-game currency that players can acquire with real-world money.
However, this wouldn’t be the first time this happened this year and Star Wars Battlefront 2 was heavily criticized for having a cooldown timer for its arcade mode to limit the number of credits earned.
Bungie is also changing the hand cannon animation with the launch of Curse of Osiris expansion to make it easier for players to fire rounds in a rapid succession.
Currently, when the hand cannon is fired it flicks upwards which causes the players to again adjust the gun on its target making it difficult to fire in a quick succession. The new animation will cause the hand cannon to flick backward.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
