Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Star Cards Guide

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Star Cards Guide details everything that you need to know about Star Cards in Star Wars: Battlefront 2.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Star Cards

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 depends heavily on Star Cards and you cannot progress in the game without using Star Cards. EA has linked the game progression with the Star Cards due to which now you cannot ignore them.

It is vital that you have a sound knowledge of these Star Cards and how they work if you want to win in the next installment in Battlefront saga.

As you keep playing, you advance in your profile level. The more you play, higher your profile level becomes. However, this profile level does not unlock anything for you after reaching a specific level.

What your profile level determines is which Star Card Tiers that you can craft. Every Star Card requires a specific profile level before you can craft them. You cannot craft any Star Card that requires a higher profile level than yours.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Unlocking Weapons

The only way to unlock weapons in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is by playing with a certain class and killing a specific number of enemies. Each class in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has specific weapons exclusive to that class and they can only be unlocked by playing with that specific class.

Therefore, if you want to unlock a weapon from the Assault class, you must play with Assault class for the required time and get the required number of kills. Hence, if you want to unlock new weapons, you must be very good at getting enemy kills.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Card Level

Your card level determines how many cards you can equip. As you collect more cards and more specifically more rare cards, your Card Level increases allowing you to equip cards that are more powerful and more number of cards as well. Every unit, ship, and heroes have their own unique cards so once you have a higher Card Level, you can equip that class’s unique cards according to your gameplay style.

The most a Card Level allows at maximum is to allow you to equip three cards for that class. Initially, you only get one slot, with the second unlocking at Card Level Five while the third slot is unlocked at Card Level Ten.

The Card Level increases no matter which class you play with. It increases as you receive new and rarer cards. Make sure you keep collecting more and more cards so that you can use more cards by unlocking slots.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Star Cards

Star Cards are divided into two categories. You can equip Boost cards and Ability cards. These both can be equipped simultaneously as well. Like the name suggests, Boost cards enhance your core abilities and give you various buffs during the game.

They can be damage boosts or reduced cooldown times and more like this. With Boost cards, you do not have to compromise anything as they only increase on or two basic abilities of your class.

The second category of Star Cards is the Ability Cards. These cards switch out one or more abilities and replace them with another one. With using these cards, you will have to compromise on one ability for the sake of another ability. These could be switching weapons or grenades from one type to another.

There are many ways of acquiring Star Cards in the game. You can win them by completing many challenges from the single-player campaign, purchase them using in-game currency via Loot Boxes or you can also craft them using Crafting Parts. Crafting Parts are also obtained from Loot Boxes or after completing challenges in the single-player campaign.
