During the first Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC live stream developer, Bungie has confirmed that Destiny Heroic Strike Playlist is coming back. According to Bungie, the playlist is going to random.
Entering the playlist means that players will be thrown into a random strike from Destiny 2 or the Curse of Osiris DLC. Keep in mind that you need to own this DLC in order to play these strikes. The rest will only have access to strikes from the base game.
You will earn legendary gear and also complete in the weekly Heroic Strikes for extra strikes. The recommended power level for the Heroic Stike is 270+, otherwise, you will have a hard time getting through the enemies. They will be an even bigger challenge compared to Destiny 2 Nightfall Strike.
There is one Nightfall Strike each week to you can expect variety from Destiny 2 Heroic Playlist.
On a related subject, The Destiny 2 DLC The Curse of Osiris features a legendary Warlock, the second DLC features Ana Bray a legendary Hunter and it is more than likely that there will be a third DLC that will be around a legendary Titan. There has been a lot of speculation around this topic and seeing how there have been multiple expansions for the previous games it is possible.
There are only two expansion planned for Destiny 2 as part of the season pass. More content will arrive but it won’t be included in the season pass available today.
Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
