Destiny 2 launched for PC and consoles with great critical acclaim and Bungie has been supporting the game with new content and Curse Of Osiris expansion is due next month and Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2 hand cannon animation will be tweaked.
Bungie’s senior gameplay designer Jon Weisnewski posted on his Twitter account noting that Destiny 2 hand cannon animation looks a bit different and the community was quick to notice as one of the fans provided a video clip showcasing the new animation.
Currently, when the hand cannon is fired it flicks upwards which causes the players to again adjust the gun on its target making it difficult to fire in a quick succession. The new animation will cause the hand cannon to flick backward making it easier for players to fire multiple shots in a quick succession without adjusting the aim.
However, it is unknown if the new animation will be implemented for all hand cannons or just the one showcased during the live stream for Curse of Osiris.
Speaking of the upcoming expansion, it will add a new Raid lair titled “Eater of Worlds” which will be a new section that will be added to the already existing Leviathan Raid but will be a separate component. Eater of Worlds will feature a new boss battle, puzzles, and enemies.
Also, Bungie has announced that the Double XP Clan event in Destiny 2, Clarion Call, will start this weekend on November 17. The event will help those players who have low levels and want to level up fast to participate in end-game content.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The Curse Of Osiris expansion will launch on December 5, 2017.
