Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris Will Bring Another Funny and Derogatory Companion Sagira

A new mechanic seems to be coming with the release of Destiny 2’s first DLC, Curse of Osiris. As Bungie revealed, in this DLC you will be able to talk with another specter model than the one you are familiar with. More specifically you will be able to interact with Osiris’ companion, named Sagira which will help you find Osiris and help him with his investigation on the Vex.

In a recent interview with Gamergen, Project Lead of Curse of Osiris, Sam Jones, and Art Director Dave Matthews talked about Osiris and his investigation on Mercury and we got some more cool information about Sagira and her role in this DLC. They revealed that they were slipping references in Destiny 2 about the possible comeback of Osiris.

When asked about the Vex and its connection to the Curse of Osiris plot, Sam Jones stated the following:

For the Vex, there is this portal on Mercury that directly links the Infinite Forest, which is this machine that simulates multiple realities out of space-time. It’s all part of their plans. In this extension, you want to learn more about their drawings and break through their secrets. Osiris is already on the spot conducting the investigation. You see them arrive in mass like an army, it becomes dangerous and … it’s up to you to discover what is happening.

The Vex arrives after they identify Sagira’s light, Osiris’ companion which he has to let go now so that he can investigate without being spotted. You will have to find Sagira in Curse of Osiris and let her guide you to her master through this new Destiny 2 mechanic.

As Jones revealed, Sagira is both derogatory and funny as well as very faithful to her master. Being able to communicate with her and let her guide you brings a whole new experience to Destiny 2.

The Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris expansion is going to be released on December 5, so that gives you a bit more time to do things like finish the story, go through the Strikes, run the Raid, and work your way up to a level where you can take on the expansion’s new story.

Also, don’t forget to take part in the “Clarion Call” event that will let players earn double XP. This Destiny 2 Clan Event will start on November 17 and will continue till November 20.
