Sony is yet again trying to impress us, this time with a huge deal for all PlayStation 4 owners. Following the steps of Microsoft, Sony is now releasing a “PlayStation Plus open multiplayer event”, which lets you play online all your favorite games on your console without the existence of an active PlayStation Plus subscription. Buckle up and clear your schedule, cause if you’re not a Plus subscriber, there’s a lot of catch up to do on multiplayer.

As Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog today, this offer will be starting this Wednesday, 15th November at 10 am GMT / 11 am CET and running to Monday 20th November at 10 am GMT / 11 am CET. If during PlayStation Plus open multiplayer event you get to like PlayStation Plus and what it offers then maybe it’s your time to give those extra dollars to subscribe.

PlayStation Plus open multiplayer event is the perfect excuse for you to try all those cool games with multiplayer modes that are recently released, like Call of Duty: WW2, Destiny 2 or FIFA 18.

Don’t forget that as a subscriber you also get some new games for your library each month, yours to keep forever. However, as Sony announced only the multiplayer feature of PlayStation Plus will be available during this time, so no free games for everyone.

This month, PlayStation Plus subscribers can get Worms Battlegrounds, Bound and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (VR) on their PlayStation 4. PlayStation 3 owners, on the other hand, will be getting classic shoot-em-up R-Type Dimensions and fighting game Rag Doll Kung Fu.

In other news, Sony has announced a number of different Black Friday Playstation deals, offering discounts on both the PPlayStation 4 and the Playstation VR ahead of the biggest retail sales day of the year in the United States. The company has also announced an upcoming Black Friday sale on the PlayStation Store.
