Fulfilling its promise from earlier this week, NetherRealm Studios has officially revealed the upcoming Fighter Pack 3 for Injustice 2.
The developer had already confirmed Atom last month. Today, we come to know that he will be joined by the super-villain Enchantress from DC Comics. The remaining third inclusion is a surprising guest appearance by all four of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The fighting game community is naturally very excited about the heroes in a half shell. The released trailer (below) fairly confirms that players will be taking control of all four of the turtles. However, it is yet to be clarified by the developer as to whether that means picking one turtle before each battle or cycling through all four on the fly through special moves.
There is no word on when the new Fighter Pack 3 will arrive for Injustice 2. We can assume the first character to release early next month, right after Hellboy makes his way into the game next week as the last character from the current Fighter Pack 2.
Injustice 2 is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The developer hosted an open beta for the PC version this week, meaning that the fighting sequel is now all prepped for a launch on the third platform on November 14.
