Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Is Changing With The Launch Of Curse Of Osiris Expansion

Destiny 2 Weekly reset will see some changes to its timings with the launch of the upcoming expansion “Curse Of The Osiris”, Bungie has announced. The expansion will drop on December 5 and with its release, the weekly rest will take place at 9 AM PT instead of 1 AM PT on Tuesday.

Bungie has also explained why it chose to change the timings for Destiny 2 weekly reset. According to Bungie, they want the Destiny 2 weekly reset to happen in conjunction with the new content for the game as the current setup doesn’t always allow players to earn new rewards tied to a specific content because the game hasn’t reset yet. However, Bungie noted that they were not able to prevent it in every scenario.

Additionally, we’re seeking to align the Milestone resets with event availability, such as Trials of the Nine or Iron Banner, to provide a uniform experience for players to follow each week.

Speaking of Curse of Osiris expansion for Destiny 2, there is a report suggesting that Osiris himself will be an NPC on the expansion. According to the lore, he was exiled from the Tower and he sought the knowledge of the Vex. One line in particular strongly suggests that he will return.

Based on Lord Shaxx’s line “So the rumors are true. Osiris has returned” it is pretty clear that he indeed will be coming back.

Another voice file for Shaxx suggests that he not too happy about Osiris returning. “He’s dangerous. I don’t care what he says or what fool adventure he’s led you on”.

Furthermore, publisher Activision has revealed that despite the retail sales falling short of expectations, the company is happy with Destiny 2 sales.

Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
