Destiny 2 Enhancements For Xbox One X And PS4 Pro To Drop Next Month

Destiny 2 has launched for PC and consoles and the game will soon be coming to PS4 Pro and Xbox One X and of course, the game will be enhanced. Destiny 2 enhancements for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will drop on December 5 along with Curse of Osiris Expansion.

As for Destiny 2 enhancements, the game will support High Dynamic Range(HDR) and adaptive 4K, a fancy word for dynamic resolution scaling, on both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

On December 5, along with the launch of Curse of Osiris and Season Two, we’ll be deploying an update to Destiny 2 that will deliver stunning gameplay with high dynamic range (HDR) lighting to these new consoles. You’ll also see adaptive 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro and 4K on the Xbox One X.

The game will not only be enhanced on December 5 but, also Destiny 2 weekly reset timing will change.

According to Bungie, they want the Destiny 2 weekly reset to happen in conjunction with the new content for the game as the current setup doesn’t always allow players to earn new rewards tied to a specific content because the game hasn’t reset yet.

Additionally, we’re seeking to align the Milestone resets with event availability, such as Trials of the Nine or Iron Banner, to provide a uniform experience for players to follow each week.

Furthermore, publisher Activision has revealed that despite the retail sales falling short of expectations, the company is happy with Destiny 2 sales.

Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
