Destiny 2 has launched on PC and consoles with stellar reviews from critics and players alike and now Bungie has announced the Destiny 2 Clan event “Clarion Call” that will let players earn double XP. The event will take next weekend.
This Destiny 2 Clan Event will start on November 17 and will continue till November 20. The event will help those players who have low levels and want to level up fast to participate in end-game content. However, this event will not affect those who are already at a high level.
In related news, Bungie has announced that starting from December 5, with the launch of Curse of Osiris expansion, Weekly reset timings will change.
According to Bungie, they want the Destiny 2 weekly reset to happen in conjunction with the new content for the game as the current setup doesn’t always allow players to earn new rewards tied to a specific content because the game hasn’t reset yet.
Not only that, December 5 will also see the launch of Destiny 2 enhancements patches for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. The game will support High Dynamic Range(HDR) and adaptive 4K, a fancy word for dynamic resolution scaling, on both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
On December 5, along with the launch of Curse of Osiris and Season Two, we’ll be deploying an update to Destiny 2 that will deliver stunning gameplay with high dynamic range (HDR) lighting to these new consoles. You’ll also see adaptive 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro and 4K on the Xbox One X.
Activision confirmed that there are multiple teams working on Destiny 2 content. Activision being happy with the sales is hardly surprising since the game is the best selling console game in the US for 2017.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
