Blizzard has officially confirmed that it will be hosting another free weekend for Overwatch next week from November 17 to 20 across all three platforms.
The trial period will give players access to all 26 heroes and 16 multiplayer maps for absoloutely free. This also includes all modes except for Competitive Play, which will remain in place for just the actual owners of the game.
Other elements from the game that will not be available during the event are Moira and Blizzard World. Both the recently announced hero and map are currently on the Public Test Region (PTR) and are yet to receive a release date.
Take note that any progress made and loot collected during the free weekend will be transferred over if the player decides to purchase Overwatch on the same account. Hence, it is important that players remember their trial accounts for the free weekend or access Overwatch with their main accounts during this time.
The free weekend for Overwatch is scheduled to begin on November 17 at 11:00 a.m. PT and run until November 20 at 11:59 p.m. PT across all regions. More information regarding the time zones can be obtained from the official website.
Overwatch passed 35 million players last month. That is an expansive global community, formed within just over a year.
