Breath of the Wild patch 1.3.1

The next The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild expansion, “The Champion’s Ballad”, might be coming out on November 23 according to the game’s official Japanese website. Its price will be 2500 yen, or 18 euros or your regional equivalent when it releases. It will be the second DLC for the game.

The Champion’s Ballad will be taking place after Link defeats Ganon in the game’s finale, and will apparently be building on his relationship with Zelda and possibly the other champions as well. Since we didn’t get that much characterization about each of them in the game (aside from a few scattered memories), it’s something that a lot of fans might enjoy.

Alongside the new Breath of the Wild expansion, the Champions from Breath of the Wild will also be getting their own amiibos, meaning we’ll be getting Revali, Mipha, Urbosa, and Daruk amiibos that will have various abilities that we’ll be able to use much like the Wolf Link amiibo that came out with the game.

We don’t really know what all will be contained in the new Breath of the Wild expansion, but hopefully it will be similar to the Master’s Trials DLC, which gave players a large amount of new armor and clothing, and the Trials of the Master Sword, a series of dozens of challenge rooms that would prove you worthy to receive the Master Sword if you undertook them.

All we know for the Chanpion’s Ballad DLC however, is that we’ll be getting a shirt that’s a reference to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, a blue and white lobster shirt that was previously featured in art from The Wind Waker.

Once again, the Breath of the Wild expansion will apparently be coming out on November 23 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Hopefully we’ll get more information about it from Nintendo soon.
