God Eater 3, the next entry in the God Eater series of video games, has been confirmed for the Playstation 4. Previously, the game had been a mystery as to what platforms it would be coming out on, but now it’s been confirmed to be on at least one of the greats.
The last God Eater game, God Eater 2, was available on the Playstation 4, the Playstation Vita, and the PC. God Eater 3 will likely be on at least two of those three, with the Playstation 4 and the PC being far more viable platforms than the rapidly-dwindling Vita. However, there’s always the possibility that it will be kept on that handheld.
The God Eater series takes place in a world where humanity is under siege by giant monsters called the Aragami. Humanity fights back by equipping people known as God Eaters with weapons known as God Arcs, which are made from the cells of Aragami and are apparently the only things that can injure them. In God Eater 3, yet more Aragami are appearing and causing destruction, and so it once again falls to the God Eaters themselves to kill the Aragami and stop them.
God Eater 3 will be the most recent entry in the series, and hopefully it will get reviews that are just as good as its predecessors. However, despite the fact that the game has been confirmed to be getting released on Playstation 4, we still don’t know what other consoles the game will be made available on. Not to mention that we don’t even have a release date.
Either way, with luck we’ll be getting more information from Bandai Namco about what platforms God Eater 3 is going to be on, and when it will be released. In the meantime, all we can do is just sit and wait for more information.
