You Can Now Buy Games For Earning Trophies With Sony Rewards Program

There are a lot of gamers who like to earn all the trophies but, there isn’t really a reward for earning them, however, things are about to change as Sony Rewards will let you earn credits for its PSN Store for earning trophies.

Sony has announced that with its Sony Rewards program, gamers can earn points for earning trophies which then can be converted into PSN store credit. However, Bronze Trophies are not included in the program and gamers will only earn points for their Silver, Gold, and Platinum trophies.

1000 Silver trophies will net you 100 points, 25 Gold trophies gets you 250 points, and 10 Platinum trophies will give you 1000 points. Players can convert 1000 point to $10 which might not get you a $60 title but you will be able to pick something up on Sale.

Also, there are some restrictions like the offer is only available in the United States for now and the trophies earned before joining the Sony Rewards program will not be counted towards earning points.

This is certainly a good step from Sony that will give Trophy Hunters a sense of reward for their earned trophies on PS4.

In related news, Sony Interactive Entertainment seems to be quite interested in publishing games for Nintendo Switch and PC as the company has created a new division “Unites” that will focus on multiplatform publication. The focus of this new division will be on supporting unique and innovative projects.
