Here’s What Marin the Fox’s Treasure Chest Contains in Hearthstone
Kobolds and Catacombs, the upcoming expansion pack for Hearthstone, is all about exploring dark dungeons and looting treasure vaults for their riches. In that content, Marin the Fox is a new legendary card that makes the task easier by bringing its own treasure chest to the players.
Players begin by playing the 6/6 card at the cost of eight mana crystals. Doing so immediately summons a special 0/8 Treasure Chest for their opponents. Breaking the chest open entitles the player to one of the following four treasure cards: Tolin’s Goblet, Zarog’s Crown, Wondrous Wand, and the Golden Kobold. They are all pretty powerful, some particularly more in certain situations, and can be checked out below.
Blizzard always remembers to hand out special in-game items for each of its flagships as a way to commemorate the occasion of BlizzCon. For Hearthstone, the developer is giving away the golden version of Marin the Fox for absolutely free. You simply need to log into the game on November 6. In addition, joining Hearthstone after Kobolds and Catacombs releases will net players a free random legendary weapon card.
Kobolds and Catacombs is scheduled to launch in December and will be the final part of the Year of the Mammoth. A more precise release date will be mentioned in the weeks to come.
The expansion pack was actually leaked a month back when the French voice actor for the Innkeeper teased that he was working on an unknown card that feature a Kobold figure with a backpack and a pickaxe.
