Final Fantasy XV players have been waiting for the Comrades Multiplayer DLC for the game which was originally scheduled to launch on October 30 but was delayed and now Square Enix has confirmed when Final Fantasy XV Comrades DLC will drop.
Square Enix has revealed through its official account confirming that Final Fantasy XV Comrades DLC will be available on November 15 and is just over a week away from launch. Also, despite being a multiplayer expansion players don’t need other players to join as the missions can be completed along too.
Final Fantasy XV is among the list of games that will be enhanced for Xbox One X, however, despite the console’s capabilities Final Fantasy XV will not be native 4K on Xbox One X instead “will implement checkerboard rendering of 4K and HDR” and the frame rate will be over 30 FPS.
Furthermore, game director Hajime Tabata has also stated that he would like to work on something new instead of working on Final Fantasy XVI.
If the company came to me and said “This is your next important mission,” I would do it and I’d put my all into it. But what I want to do and what my team wants to do is create something new, and that’s what we’re going to do.
Also, Square Enix has announced that the game will be getting more content next year which is hardly surprising since the studio has no plans for a direct sequel but intends to support the game with new content.
It is not known what new expansions for the game will but Tabata has expressed his desire for developing expansion based on Lunafreya.
Final Fantasy XV is an open-world action adventure title developed by Square Enix for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and will come to PC in early 2018.
